The exhibition ‘Expectations’ by artist Gerda Paliušytė will be presented in the South Hall of the CAC and is a continuation of her long-term project ‘Guys and Blue Flowers’, which has been in development for several years. The exhibition will feature Paliušytė’s new photographs alongside sculptural objects by artist Gediminas G. Akstinas.
Gerda Paliušytė is an artist based in Vilnius. Her work explores various documentary practices, as well as historical and pop culture phenomena and figures, and their relationship to social reality. Through film, photography, and installation, she investigates different forms of intimacy and the magic and fragility of collective existence.
