You are kindly invited to the second listening session as part of Jurgis Paškevičius’ solo exhibition “Alternating Current“, in which sounds will be shared by sound architect, collector of vinyl and a video artist Tomas Požemis and electronic music producer and DJ Sraunus. The live performance will take place this Saturday, 24 April, from 12:00 to 20:00 in the CAC’s North Hall. Join us for a short pause, a contemplative listen and an immersive experience.

Entrance is included with a CAC exhibitions’ ticket. When purchasing your ticket at the CAC font desk, you will be kindly asked to fill in a registration form for the event.

Due to current event restrictions, visitor numbers in the North Hall will be monitored by a member of CAC staff and all visitors will be asked to remain seated during the event in specially designated areas. If the hall reaches full capacity you will be asked to wait before entering the space. During this time you are welcome to visit two other solo shows currently open at the CAC – Laura Kaminskaitė’s “Double double“ and Michael Rakowitz’s “Return“. All visitors age 6 and older must wear a protective face mask, unless exempt. We also kindly ask you to maintain a safe 2 metre distance from other visitors and avoid crowding and gathering around exhibits, corridors and entranceways.

Jurgis Paškevičius’ solo exhibition “Alternating Current“ at the CAC’s North Hall is on show until 25 April. The project is comprised of two parts: a sound installation that incorporates a custom-made antenna covering the entire surface of the building’s roof; and a sound sculpture installed in the CAC’s North Hall, which becomes a stage for a series of live performances.
