Exhibition in the terrace of the CAC Reading Room
Beatričė Mockevičiūtė associates the act of creating with the possibility to grasp that which is usually translucent and ephemeral in the everyday. Apartment blocks visited by reflections of the sun or truck tarpaulins blown about in the wind may be meticulously man-made, but they are also independent and unpredictable. A gaze is the main instrument which allows us to recognise and define such translucent characters of the everyday.
