The exhibition of Henri Cartier-Breson (born in 1908) consists of 155 photographs. It is a rare possibility for Lithuanian viewers to see one of the most famous classics of world photography. Henri Cartier-Bresson became famous for his conception of the ‘decisive moment’, which made a significant influence on photography and its perception. He uplifted the reportage photography to the highest artistic level and made the dynamic moments of reality look nearly surrealistic. This retrospective exhibition embraces the earliest and the latest periods of Henri Cartier-Bresson‘s work as well as reflects the wide geography of his travels.
The groups of viewers are invited to the guided tours every Tuesday and Saturday.
