Artistic director: Vincent Honoré

Curators: Dina Akhmadeeva, Canan Batur, Juliet Bingham, Neringa Bumblienė, Harry Burke, Cédric Fauq, Anya Harrison, Cadence Kinsey, Kaspars Vanags

An evening of performance, poetry and music, Bastard Voices sets the tone and expresses the desires and ambitions of Baltic Triennial 13 – Give Up The Ghost ahead of its unfolding across Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia in a trio of exhibitions from May to November 2018. In a momentary, one-night-only shift to London, Bastard Voices is an invitation to address the moving notion of belonging – a key concern of this year’s Baltic Triennial – through a confluence of bodies, movement and text. During the course of the evening, the list of artists participating in BT13 – Give Up The Ghost will be revealed.

In the event participating artists: Carlotta Bailly Borg, Eglė Budvytytė, Adam Christensen, Gaia Fugazza, Marikiscrycrycry, Ieva Rojūtė, Mare Tralla, Karlis Verdins and Liv Wynter.

The event will take place on 29 March, 2018 from 7 to 10 pm at the South London Gallery
65-67 Peckham Rd, London.

Organized by the Contemporary Art Centre Vilnius, Kim? Riga, and Centre for Contemporary Arts Tallinn.
Supported by the Lithuanian Council for Culture and the Institut Français
