Open Call: The International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP)

The International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP), together with its partners in Lithuania – the Contemporary Art Centre (CAC) and the Lithuanian Culture Institute (LCI) – invites Lithuanian visual artists to apply for a three-month residency in Brooklyn, New York, taking place from September to November 2026.

The International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) is a leading non-profit contemporary art organisation that for the last thirty years has promoted the creative development and international exchange of artists and curators through residencies and public programmes. With more than 30 artists and curators participating regularly, the programme provides space, time, and support to develop new projects. ISCP’s programme is tailored to strengthen professional development and community engagement while operating as an important platform for the production, presentation, and contextualisation of contemporary art. ISCP’s public programmes encourage dialogue and help integrate residents into the New York cultural community.

RESIDENCY PROGRAMME

The ISCP residency provides:

  • 24-hour access to a private, furnished 18 sq. m. studio
  • regular studio visits by international curators, art historians, and critics
  • excursions to museums, galleries, and other cultural institutions
  • participation in ISCP talks

ISCP residents may also be invited to participate in the ISCP exhibition programme and projects.

RESIDENCY CONDITIONS

LCI will cover the cost of a studio at ISCP in Brooklyn for the selected candidate. Upon the initiative of the CAC and LCI, and in cooperation with sponsors, financial donations will be collected for a scholarship to cover the costs of flights, accommodation, and living expenses in New York. The selected artist will be responsible for arranging their own flights and accommodation.

No financial support is provided for the production of work or projects.
