Join us on Wednesday, 18 December, at 6 pm in the CAC Reading Room for All Good: Things We Like – the final event of the student educational programme. Building on the CAC’s 15th Baltic Triennial exhibition, Same Day, 13 programme participants from various universities in Vilnius were invited to explore and engage with questions about individuality, cultural identity, representation, and the distinction between the rational and the emotional in both art and politics. For the programme’s concluding event, you are warmly invited to familiarise yourself with the ideas explored by the group and spend some time together.

We started our trip with the 15th Baltic Triennial exhibition, Same Day, at the CAC (WARNING: rest of the text is generated by AI using notes from the meetings). Loneliness and isolation are central themes in this exploration, where objects are strategically placed far apart and architectural design divides people, creating spaces that inherently make individuals wander alone. The space seems intentionally designed to limit communal interactions, with only one chair next to a table, suggesting a deliberate separation that raises questions about the purpose of such isolation. However, this isolation is not viewed purely negatively; it is also seen as a potential space for something new to emerge, where scarcity can paradoxically create room for complexity and challenge the societal norms of constant consumption and production.

Each moment is an invitation to shift your perspective, to look beyond your personal bubble, and to discover meaning in scarcity.
